How lucky am I to have what I have? I've been walking around for a long time with this attitude of entitlement to my life and my surroundings. Well, guess what? I was wrong.
I read in the paper this morning about the shooting that happened in Arizona. I read that a fetus was found in a box somewhere off of Hiline Road. I read that a 24 year old man shot his 23 year old roomate 3 times in the back and killed her. I am not entitled. I am lucky to have each moment that I have. I should cherish it. And I should cherish even more that I am able to do what makes me happier than anything else with those moments.
i agree, it only makes sense to enjoy all things. To be aware of each breath we take, each blade of grass we see, and to cherish each, i feel that is a good goal :)
